European date format

I'm re-introducing this as it has been ignored by GMX. Everyone using the American date format in Europe must be frustrated at the inability to change this to the European format. Your brain is trained to see it in an instantly recognisable format so it's a constant annoyance. It is built into just about every computer application I know and the option is included on cheap phones, DVD players etc, etc. C'mon GMX - please sort this and you'll get a lot more users I'm sure.
